Time Thief x Babieta 1 year old Chestnut Colt
This beautiful colt was purchased recently from the 2013 Adelaide Magic Millions Sale by Robbie Laing. Rob was captivated by this colts striking presence and relaxed attitude and was thrilled to secure him for $70,000+gst.
This colt is by the first season sire, Time Thief who is oustandingly bred being by the champion racehorse and sire in Redoute's Choice. The dam is the well related and top racemare in Procrastinate.
Time Thief was purchased for $2 million as a yearling, obviously a stunning and well conformed colt. He was lightly raced and was a winner of the Listed MRC Zedative Stakes and runner up in the Group One MRC Caulfield Guineas.
This colt is from the Jeune mare Babieta, who has had one foal to race, Xaieta, a dual city winner and runner up in the Group Three SAJC Spring Stakes.
This colt is from the immediate family of 12 time and Group Three Grafton Cup winner, Count Scenario and the eight time and Group Three STC Kingston Town Stakes winner, Dashing Scene.
This colt has all the qualities we look for to become a top line racehorse of the future with the Caulfied Guineas as one of his main targets.
